YOUR ITINERARY:
DAY 1: Depart USA, Arrive in Belize. Your
fascinating trip begins today with your
overseas flight to Belize. Take the local flight we
have arranged for you to the unhurried and
slow-paced life of Caye Caulker. Walk around
the island and get to know the villagers.
DAY 2: DAY ONE OF OPEN WATER COURSE.
Today you begin your open water course. On
the first day, you watch video tutorials on the
basics and mechanics of SCUBA diving. Video
tutorials are about four hours long.
DAY 3: DAY TWO OF OPEN WATER COURSE. On
the second day, there is more classroom work,
but you get into shallow water today to do
skills tests such as practice breathing through
your regulator, putting the equipment on, etc.
Part of your day is spent in the classroom and
part in the water.
DAY 4: DAY THREE OF OPEN WATER COURSE. On
the third day, there is more classroom work, but
you get into deeper water today to do skills
tests such as clearing your mask underwater,
retrieving your regulator, etc. Part of your day
is spent in the classroom and part in the water.
DAY 5: DAY FOUR OF OPEN WATER COURSE. On
the fourth day, you do progressively deeper
dives, skills tests and classroom work until you
get to the point where you can safely dive at
sixty feet. You two check out dives today will
be at sixty feet. Once you master your two
check-out dive, CONGRATULATIONS!, you made
it!
DAY 6: FREE DAY. Enjoy your leisurely day
doing the things you enjoy the most. Rent
some bikes or a golf cart and tour the island.
Meet the people. Have a frozen drink. Buy
some souvenirs. These days are yours to do
with what you wish.
DAY 7: THREE TANK DIVE DAY. Choose any
three tank dive trip from any of the dive shops
or take a trip to the magnificent blue hole for a
day of fun.
DAY 8: FREE DAY. Enjoy a leisurely day doing
the things you enjoy the most. Rent some
bikes or a golf cart and tour the island. Meet
the people. Have a frozen drink. Buy some
souvenirs. Today is yours to do with as you wish.
DAY 9: TWO TANK DIVE DAY. Choose any two
tank dive trip from any of the dive shops. Some
excellent dive sites to choose from are St.
Georgis Caye Wall, Local Canyons etc.
DAY 10: FREE DAY. Enjoy a leisurely day doing
the things you enjoy the most. Rent some
bikes or a golf cart and tour the island. Meet
the people. Have a frozen drink. Buy some
souvenirs. Today is yours to do with as you wish
DAY 11: SHARK / RAY ALLEY HALF DAY SNORKEL
TRIP. Welcome to some of the most amazing
snorkeling spots in the world. Feeling a bit lazy
this morning?? No problem! Our half day
snorkeling tour departs either in the morning or
the afternoon, depending on your mood. This
includes two snorkel stops at the local reef
in front of Caye Caulker. One stop is at our
very own locally cultivated Shark and Ray
Village. This is a smaller version of the much
larger Shark and Ray Alley, but overflows with
the same mystique and excitement as the
larger version. Located only a five minute boat
ride from the island, you can snorkel to your
heart's content in WAIST DEEP water among
these friendly creatures. The tour guide actually
holds these creatures and brings them to you
to pet. Touch the grainy skin of a nurse shark
and live to tell home about it! Feel the friendly
sting rays bump into your leg and still live to tell
home about it! This is truly an amazing trip.

DAY 13: SUNSET SAIL. Your sunset sailing trip
begins at 5:00 p.m. What a better way to
finish your Caye Caulker adventure than on
one of the traditional fishing sailboats heading
into the sunset. Enjoy the rum punch and
enjoy the view.
DAY 14: CAYE CAULKER - PGIA - YOUR HOME.
Hop on your local flight which will take you
back to the Phillip Goldson International Airport
where you can board your homeward bound
international flight.
