YOUR ITINERARY:

DAY 1:  Depart USA, Arrive in CAYE CAULKER, Belize.
(D*)
Your fascinating trip begins today with your
overseas flight to Belize.  Take the local flight we
have arranged for you to the unhurried and
slow-paced life of Caye Caulker.  Walk around the
island and get to know the villagers.  Tonight at
dinner, meet your fellow travelers who have
embarked on this journey together with you.

DAY 2: CAYE CAULKER: HOL CHAN MARINE PARK &
SHARK/RAY ALLEY (B*):
Today's full day tour will take
you to the enchanting marine park of Hol Chan.
Hol Chan is the Mayan word for "little channel".  This
captivating marine park includes a natural
channel through the barrier reef that allows boat
access to the deep sea.  It is teeming with marine
life.  You can spot sting rays, nurse sharks, and a
wide array of small and color fishes.  Your second
breath-taking snorkeling stop will be at Shark / Ray
Alley.  Be sure to bring your waterproof camera as
the folks at home will never believe how close you
get to these wild creatures.  Pet a shark or a
stingray, or two, or three, and then continue on for
lunch (on your own) on the neighboring island of
Ambergris Caye.  Third snorkel stop which is on the
way back to Caye Caulker is at the Coral Gardens.

DAY 3:  CAYE CAULKER: HALF DAY LOCAL REEF (B*) --
Enjoy your morning sightseeing, walking around the
island and getting to know the people.   Rent a
bike and ride up to the Split if you wish.  Your half
day snorel trip this afternoon will depart at 1:30
p.m.  A short boat ride will take you out to the local
reef where most of your snorkeling is done in waist
deep water.  .

DAY 4:  CAYE CAULKER - BURRELL BOOM:  BABOON
SANCTUARY (B*, L*, D*)-
Today we will depart
Ambergris Caye after breakfast via local flight to the
Municipal Airstrip.  Here, we will board a mini-bus
which will transport the group to Rural Belize.
Check into your hotel and have lunch.  In the early
afternoon, we will head out to the Baboon
Sanctuary to view the Howler Monkeys (locally
known as Baboons) in their natural habitat.

DAY 5:  BURRELL BOOM: ALTUN HA MAYA RUIN (B*, L*,
D*).
Enjoy a leisurely half day tour of the Altun Ha
Maya Ruin, home of the jade head of Kinich Ahau,
the Mayan Sun God.   In the afternoon, take an
optional tour of the Belize River to experience and
enjoy the wildlife.

DAY 6: BURRELL BOOM - BELMOPAN AREA JUNGLES:
BELIZE ZOO (B*, L*, D*) -
 Today we head to the
Cayo District to enjoy some of the hilly terrain of
that area.  This area is laden with surprise waterfalls,
rapids, and flowing rivers.  On the way, we will
make a stop at the BELIZE ZOO, the finest little zoo in
the world, to view native animals in their natural
habitat.  Say hello to the tapir, the National Animal
of Belize, take some photos with the scarlett
macaws, and just enjoy...

DAY 7: BELMOPAN AREA JUNGLES:  CAVE TUBING (B*,
L*, D*)-
Today after breakfast put on your swimsuit or
any clothes you don't mind getting wet as we
head out to the Caves Branch River for a day of
cave tubing.  Cave tubing is a leisurely drift on inner
tubes down the river and through several set of
caves.  Put on your adventurous spirit as you float
through Xibalba, home of the Mayan underworld.
Headlamps will help to light your way on this
journey reminiscent of a scene from an Indiana
Jones movie.

DAY 8:  BELMOPAN AREA JUNGLES: ST. HERMAN'S
CAVE / INLAND BLUE HOLE (B*, L*, D*)
- Today we
head to the inland Blue Hole, which is a sink hole
created by erosion due to one of the many
underwater streams and rivers in this area.  The
water, crystal clear and blue in hue, makes its way
out from underground only at this spot.   Take a dip
in the cold water if you wish.  From here, we can
head out on the trail to St. Herman's cave where
you can go cave exploring.

DAY 9:  BELMOPAN AREA JUNGLES - PLACENCIA: (B*,
L*)
Today we will leave the Belmopan area as we
head South to the seashore fishing village of
Placencia.  On the way we will stop at a Mayan
craft market where you can shop for original
hand-made Mayan souvenirs, as well as we will
pass through several cultural villages along the way.

DAY 10:  PLACENCIA - FREE DAY (B*)  Lounge on the
beach, enjoy a frozen drink, or explore the village --
it's up to you.  Today is a free day for you to enjoy
as you wish.

DAY 11:  RURAL BELIZE - PGIA - YOUR HOME: (B*)Hop
on your local flight which will take you back to the
Phillip Goldson International Airport where you can
board your homeward bound international flight.
