Amazing Caye Caulker - Caye Caulker, Belize

YOUR ITINERARY:

DAY 1: Depart USA, Arrive in Belize. Your
fascinating trip begins today with your overseas
flight to Belize. Take the local flight we have
arranged for you to the unhurried and
slow-paced life of Caye Caulker. Walk around
the island and get to know the villagers.

DAY 2: HOL CHAN MARINE PARK FULL DAY
SNORKEL TRIP. Today's full day tour will take you
to the enchanting marine park of Hol Chan. Hol
Chan is the Mayan word for "little channel". This
captivating marine park includes a natural
channel through the barrier reef that allows boat
access to the deep sea. It is teeming with
marine life. You can spot sting rays, nurse sharks,
and a wide array of small and color fishes. Make
a lunch stop (lunch not included) at one of the
many restaurants on the neighboring island of
Ambergris Caye where you will make a short
stop, then rejoin the tour again for more
excellent snorkeling at both Shark / Ray Alley
and the Coral Gardens.

DAY 3: MANATEE WATCHING. Your full day
snorkeling / manatee watching trip departs at
9:00 a.m. First stop it at the Swallow Caye
Manatee Reserve to view the manatees in their
natural habitat. After seeing the manatees, tour
then stops on a small island located right on the
reef called Goff's Caye. Since it is located right
on the reef, the snorkeling from here is awesome.
In the evening, take your boat ride back to
Caye Caulker Island.

DAY 4: SHARK / RAY ALLEY HALF DAY SNORKEL
TRIP. Welcome to some of the most amazing
snorkeling spots in the world. Feeling a bit lazy
this morning?? No problem! Our half day
snorkeling tour departs either in the morning or
the afternoon, depending on your mood. This
includes two snorkel stops at the local reef
in front of Caye Caulker. One stop is at our very
own locally cultivated Shark and Ray Village.
This is a smaller version of the much
larger Shark and Ray Alley, but overflows with
the same mystique and excitement as the larger
version. Located only a five minute boat ride
from the island, you can snorkel to your heart's
content in WAIST DEEP water among these
friendly creatures. The tour guide actually holds
these creatures and brings them to you
to pet. Touch the grainy skin of a nurse shark
and live to tell home about it! Feel the friendly
sting rays bump into your leg and still live to tell
home about it! This is truly an amazing trip. Bring
your camera to capture the moment, as no one
at home will believe you!

DAYS 5 & 6: FREE DAYS. Enjoy two leisurely days
doing the things you enjoy the most. Rent some
bikes or a golf cart and tour the island. Meet the
people. Have a frozen drink. Buy some
souvenirs. These days are yours to do with what
you wish.

DAY 7: SUNSET SAIL. Your sunset sailing trip begins
at 5:00 p.m. What a better way to finish your
Caye Caulker adventure than on one of the
traditional fishing sailboats heading into the
sunset. Enjoy the rum punch and enjoy the view.

DAY 8: CAYE CAULKER - PGIA - YOUR HOME. Hop
on your local flight which will take you back to
the Phillip Goldson International Airport where
you can board your homeward bound
international flight.
