GUANACASTE PARK AND BELIZE ZOO
Tour departs from Belize City by 8:00 a.m. Drive for
approximately one hour on the Western Highway en
route to the Guanacaste National Park where a walk
through its many trails will allow you full view of a
variety of flora and fauna of Belize. Take a picture in
front of the gigantic Guanacaste Tree, native to
Belize. Then, drive back to the Belize Zoo. Here you
can see over 100 species of native Belizean animals
including Belize's national animal - the tapir - birds,
crocodiles, howler monkeys, and endangered species
like jaguars all can be seen here in their natural setting.
After tour, enjoy the return drive to Belize City.
