CELESTIAL BODIES
A two hour tour consisting of a short motor boat ride to
the lee side of our caye. We anchor and the guide leads
the gazers through the constellations regaling them with
story telling skills, recounting the Greek and Mayan
mythologies surrounding our Cosmos.. We look through
binoculars at the stars and check Star Maps. Tea is served
with cookies on board.
After this we pull up anchor and slowly make our way
along the mangroves looking with flashlights for the
telltale eye shine of the American Saltwater Crocadile!
These reptiles are shy and elusive, we might just be lucky
enough to see one!
We pull up to a mangrove stand and check for juvenile
lobster and brine shrimp and other nocturnal sea
creatures.
